Board Officers & Trustees |
Elected every 4 years to the Village of Hudson President, Village Trustees and Clerk form a corner stone within the community. Serving in these roles the members of the Village Board and Clerk work in cooperation with Federal, State and Local authorities, as well as residents, for the overall benefit of the community. Meeting on a monthly basis at the Hudson Police Department this group reviews and discusses Village business as well as issues brought forward by residents who attend the meeting. All residents are welcome to attend and encouraged to participate. |
David Brutlag - Village President

Allison Brutlag - Village Clerk
Board Member Since 2007 I teach first grade at Olympia North Elementary School in Danvers and my husband, Jason works at State Farm. We have 3 children, Ryan, Natalie and Tyler. As a family, we enjoy watching movies, playing games and spending time outdoors. Hudson is the epitome of small town living. The people are so supportive and in times of need they rally around each other. It is a great place to raise our family! |

Sara Hill - Treasurer / FOIA Officer
Board Member Since 2014 Although I have only been appointed to the Village Board since May of 2014 I have been employed with the Village since 2012 and have lived in Hudson my entire life. After marrying Shane Hill we agreed that Hudson is a great small town, a wonderful place to raise your children and where we wanted to start our family. Since then time seems to have flown by and our daughter Ellie is already 19 with her younger brother Jackson only a few years behind at age 15. |
Phil Morris - Trustee of Streets
Current Board Member Since 2011 15+ years membership in previous board positions I was raised in Hudson and also raised my three children here with my wife Sharon. I am very pleased that one my three children still lives here in Hudson and decided to raise my two grandsons in what I consider to be a great place to raise a family. Hudson offers children an opportunity to participate in sports activities with friends through great programs from the Hudson Lions Club and Hudson Woman's Club. Children also have the benefit of having Hudson Elementary school right here in town. In Hudson adults also have their choice of many different churches and a wonderful library where they and their family can enjoy the many activities these have to offer. Being in Hudson since 1960 when my parents bought their home, I feel I know the small town experience and would like to maintain this atmosphere into the future. I have been on the village board under the leadership of five different mayors and feel that I can make decisions for the citizens of Hudson to better maintain the quality of life for everyone. Hudson, Illinois is a great place to live with wonderful people that make it great! |
Kevin Kelley - Trustee of Police
My wife and I moved to Hudson in 2004 with our three children. We chose Hudson because we liked the quality of life, the proximity to Bloomington/Normal, and the cornfield in our backyard. The people are kind and generous and our children made lifelong friends. We have been empty nesters for quite awhile and are fortunate to have 5 grandchildren. I retired from Illinois State University after nearly 30 years in the Comptroller’s Office; with the last 10 years as the University’s Assistant Payroll Manager. My wife, Kim, works at Heartland Community College. I’m currently a Hudson Lions Club member and was previously on the Village Board from October, 2007 until my term expired in May, 2013. |
