NORMAL — With two weeks to go, officials hope more businesses and individuals will step up to support the next McLean County Household Hazardous Waste Collection.
The Ecology Action Center has raised $155,000 toward the $180,000 cost of the Oct. 17 event, which will offer residents a chance to dispose of waste including oil-based paint, batteries and fluorescent light bulbs at the Mitsubishi Motors North America plant at 100 N.
