The Village of Hudson, Illinois is accepting applications and resumes for the position of Part-Time Police Officer. The Village of Hudson will be hiring one (1) part-time officer to complement its current two (2) full-time day shift officers.
A part-time officer shall have all the responsibilities of a full-time officer, including but not limited to enforcing state laws, traffic enforcement, citizen complaints, community policing, assist other agencies, maintain vehicle and equipment, and enforce Village Ordinances.
MUST BE A CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER IN ILLINOIS. ONLY CERTIFIED APPLICANTS WILL BE REVIEWED.
Candidate must be of a good moral character and physically and mentally able to perform assigned duties.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Pass a background check.
Possess a valid State of Illinois driver's license.
Possess no prior felony convictions.
